As a Data Warehouse BI Engineer (f/m/d) you are largely responsible for the creation of design concepts and data models for the further development of the data warehouse infrastructure. You are also responsible for optimizing and securing the ongoing operation. Your tasks include the implementation and performance optimization of ETL flows, quality assurance and the documentation of developed solutions.
Job requirements:
- relevant professional data warehouse experience, ideally in an Oracle or Google Cloud Platform environment
- Good knowledge of common data warehouse principles such as delta load, historisation, data protection
- Sound knowledge of SQL or PL/SQL
- Sound knowledge of data modelling, ideally with Data Vault
- Experience with streaming architectures (e.g. Apache Kafka) or cloud infrastructures (e.g. GCP, Azure, AWS, OCI)
- Analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Flexibility, team spirit and the ability to cope with pressure
