As a Frontend Engineer (m/f/d) you will join a team within our Shop IT department that will transform the webshop in 2022 into a modern software system with a new look. As a strong team player, you will need to take responsibility for individual tasks and sub-projects for the restructuring and further development of the webshop. You will have many opportunities to work with the team to shape and drive our new platform.
You will:
- Further, develop our e-commerce platform by developing new features that excite our customers
- Responsible for frontend codebase and delivering quality, clean code, and participating in code reviews
- Collaborating with Product Owners and Designers to integrate new designs and features
- Migrate our platform from Symfony to REACT
- Work in an agile scrum team with well-defined processes and procedures
- Present your innovative ideas and share your knowledge with colleagues
Job requirements:
- Several years of experience with frontend technologiesExpert in HTML, scalable CSS with BEM + Atomic classes / SCSS, JS/TypeScript
- Experienced in PHP, TWIG
- Tools: GIT, Gulp, Node JS, Webpack, Lighthouse, tailwind CSS
- Good understanding of web performance, monitoring, and optimizing (eg. Image optimization)
- Understanding of UX/ UI for e-commerce
- Experience in integrating third-party tools + monitoring
