UX Designer – Focus on user research (m/f/d)

As part of our user experience team in Berlin, you are responsible for the user experience of our responsive web shops and their apps for our brands myToys, mirapodo and yomonda. You are part of a cross-functional team and work closely with product owners, software developers and user experience designers: this is your chance to design new features and present innovative products to millions of customers.

• You plan and carry out the laboratory tests, interview and observe myToys customers and present the results to the product team and other stakeholders
• You scribble user interfaces and create prototypes (with Axure or similar) based on your UX experience, especially in mobile
• You collect, analyze and share user behavior through laboratory studies, competitive analyzes, benchmark studies and A / B tests
• You will accompany the development of our responsive shops and apps (iOS and Android apps) throughout the entire life cycle: from the conception of a feature in wireframes to implementation and continuous improvement
• You are an active consultant for our design and product team, provide professional feedback and have always the customer-focused design in mind

Job requirements:

• Several years of practical work experience as a user experience researcher for native APPs (iOS / Android) and responsive web applications
• Experience in organizing and leading semi-structured interviews / laboratory studies (in-house and remote)
• Excellent knowledge of user experience / usability, mobile and e-commerce
• In-depth knowledge of user tracking and its optimization from user flow to conversion funnel
• Fluent German and very good English
• Ideally, a Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Visual Communications or comparable training
